Q. How many sessions will I need?
A. Typically phobias can be released in a couple of sessions and many emotional, health and pain issues can be resolved in 3 or 4 sessions. Problems like chronic anxiety may require more sessions, but are nevertheless fully resolvable. For personal development / coaching we suggest you allow between 6 and 12 sessions and for bereavement we recommend 12 sessions. We also offer open-ended counselling / therapy giving more time for self-reflection.

Q. Why am I still affected by something that happened long ago?
A. When you're reminded of a past event, it also brings a recollection of how you felt in your body which you may have unconsciously labeled 'unsafe', and the conclusions you drew about what was happening, which may not have been correct. This is what makes you inexplicably feel bad and unconsciously react in inappropriate or unhelpful ways. Both EFT and hypnosis allow you to release and change these associations.

Q. Will I remember what happens when I'm hypnotised?
A. Yes. Hypnosis is only a natural state of heightened relaxation and you are fully aware of what's happening.

Q. Why do I remember some things better after EFT or hypnosis?
A. After both EFT and hypnosis you may remember events better, because the relaxation created reduces difficult feelings associated with memories making them more accessible to your conscious awareness.
